What is Carousel?
Carousel is a secure platform used by businesses to collect, verify, and review application information in a faster and more reliable way.
Instead of traditional forms and documents sent back and forth by email, everything happens digitally in one place: applicants submit and verify their information, and reviewers receive it organized and already verified.
Businesses use Carousel to gather the information they need to evaluate applications, verify identity, and review financial details.
What Carousel does
Carousel helps businesses securely collect and verify information such as:
- Identity verification
- Financial information
- Bank account verification
- Credit authorization
- Supporting documents
Verified upfront, this information lets applications move faster and decisions rest on reliable data.
How the process works
For businesses: your team builds a verification workflow in the Carousel Portal and shares it with applicants, then reviews the verified results as they come in — see the Product guides.
For applicants: you complete the verification steps the business has configured for its workflow, and the results are compiled for their review. The step-by-step walkthrough is in How Carousel works.
Is the information secure?
Yes. Carousel uses secure systems and encrypted connections to protect all information. An applicant’s data is shared only with the business reviewing their application and the services required to complete the verification checks.
Who uses Carousel?
Application reviewers — lenders, landlords, and other businesses — use Carousel to collect verified information and review applications without manual paperwork. Applicants use it to complete those applications in minutes. If you’ve been sent a Carousel link, the business you’re applying with uses Carousel to speed up its review.
